Over the course of the last few months, the Melville Fire Department has gone to the aid of the Plainview Fire Department, Huntington Manor Fire Department, Dix Hills Fire Department and East Farmingdale Fire Department for numerous fires. Departments on Long Island assist one another at incidents such as working fires, and we are grateful to be able to come to the aid of our neighbors.
